Find out how to create a green button with a dollar symbol on it. Ok, let's begin.

Step 1.
Create a new 450X450 pixels document with a white background. Create a new layer "Layer 1" (Layer > New > Layer). Now choose Elliptical Marquee Tool and create a vertical ellipse. Choose Gradient Tool and make green gradient like shown on the pic. 1.

Then fill the ellipse.

Step 2.
Now apply Select > Modify > Contract with the following settings: Contract By 15 pixels. And fill a new selection with green gradient.

Step 3.
Now open an image with a dollar symbol and create a selection (use Magic Wand Tool).

Step 4.
Move the selection on the button document.

Create a new layer "Layer 2" (Layer > New > Layer). Now apply Edit > Fill and fill a selection with a dark green color. Apply Select > Modify > Contract with the following settings: Contract By 2 pixels. Choose Gradient Tool and fill a new selection. Apply Select > Deselect.

Step 5.
Apply Layer > Layer Style > Blending Options and set options for the "Layer 2" with the following settings:

Bevel and Emboss

Satin

Then apply Blending Options for the "Layer 1" with the following settings:

Drop Shadow

Inner Shadow

Bevel and Emboss

Satin
